  1. I am personally driven crazy by undisciplined hitters so that is music to the ears for me .
  2. It's a very fair question to ask if it's possible for a hitter to become much more disciplined at the plate. My personal feeling is that it should be with the right coaching and also with the desire to. Maybe hitters are just who they are and you live with that. With Adam Jones, however, and I admit that it is nothing more than just my opinion, is that he simply did not want to change his approach. That doesn't mean I didn't appreciate him and what he did for the O's, I rooted for him like any other O's fan, it's just my honest take on the situation.
  3. Mateo is fun to watch run the bases.
  4. To the deep part of Left Field also
  5. Got home just in time to see Urias. Nice!
  6. Adley is going to be an on-base machine. My kind of player .
  7. Sure, I get the point that maybe you just have to be who you are. I also don't think you give Sosa enough credit for the change in his approach, but of course I might be wrong on that. I still think that Ryan is young enough that getting him to try to shrink the strike zone can only benefit him. It might be very hard, but imo is worth the try because of his talent for making good contact.
  8. Point taken. I like Ryan and think he could be a great hitter, but imo he will never get there unless he changes his approach.
  9. This. He will hit mistakes but not much else, and it's obvious the league knows they can throw outside the strike zone to him most of the time.
  10. What a horrible call, should have been 3rd strike. Never mind, got him anyway.
  11. Yeah, 60 mill per for ten years was what I meant in jest, and it was excessive for both Judge being so frustrating to play against and the fact it would probably take an excessive offer to get him to come to Baltimore, all other things being equal.
  12. When he bats against us it always feels like he can hit any pitch within 3 or 4 inches of the zone out of the park. Guy is just a monster. I hope that guy the Yankees drafted this year with similiar height doesn't turn out the same way.
