  1. The last time I remember a "he hasn't had a (insert stat here) all year" that really stood out was when Caleb Joseph went 19 months plus with zero RBI.
  2. I'm with you. Slapstick is my favorite comedy. That and poo jokes.
  3. Don't feel too bad. It's still not the stinker on the day Dave Trembley was elevated from interim to actual manager and he lost 30-3.
  4. I think the D-Backs got 14 runs in an inning on opening day. We may give that a run for its money today.
  5. Angels in the outfield (watching balls go over the wall).
  6. With the amount of batting around likely, the cycle is likely for Gunnar.
  7. It's really hard! Waving Braves towards home as 3rd base coach is much easier.
  8. But so entertaining! I don't live anywhere near MD, but I loved when he'd call in. Also Elkton John.
  9. Lord, I thought RHino was heading for the Warehouse on that one.
  10. Me too, but with my dog snoring, it's hard to tell the difference.
  11. Canning's arm delivery has that dart throwing motion where his hand does not even dip much lower than his belt. Unsettling to look at from the TV angle.
  12. Like on that Urias grab, I wish they'd go to that late 60s camera view from behind the umpire. You can actually see where the ball is headed on every contact. Maybe even have a small window at bottom right with now standard behind the pitcher view.
  13. It's an easy mistake. Folks in my part of the woods often assume James Taylor was born in Chapel Hill, but he was born in Boston and moved to NC when he was 5. But he did spend his all of his school years here in our area.
  14. Wasn't born in MD, though. Manhattan was his birthplace. I was listing in my OP people born in Balt.
  15. He did. And did attend school in England. But I was listing people born in Baltimore. Poe was born in Boston MA. My Bob In Parkville was a joke that probably didn't track with a lot of folks. I'm sure he'd have hated it.
  16. Boston native, though. But Baltimore whiskey contributed to his death (among other theories). But he did come and go to Charm City at various points to live at periods.
  17. Sort of like that weird mash-up of Nashville meets Thames when Carlene Carter was married to Nick Lowe. Strangest accent I'd ever heard.
  18. I love that Baltimore is hometown to such colorful people over the years. John Waters Frank Zappa Bob In Parkville
  19. London works like a charm for me with ExpressVPN.
  20. It is. Impressive that you used to hang with him (not drink for drink, unless you did). The one thing that would make my year other than the O's winning the World Series would be for all of the current O's with mustaches go with the pencil thin Waters model.
  21. He needs to groom it a little. I'd prefer the whole team adopt this as their schtick this season.
  22. My wife: "Austin Hays wears a size 6 hat."
  23. I think I saw Mounty mouth a "Create-A-Park" jab there.
  24. Yeah, the jerseys have that Dallas Cowboys aqua tint to it. Weird.
