Having had a tiny, tiny business for tax purposes in years past and having shown a loss some years, while reporting all income AND using legitimate receipts to back up expenses, I got refunds or avoided paying tax those years. Who would benefit from MASN showing this loss? Orioles and Nationals, or just the entity MASN itself? Edit: admittedly, someone may have had the answer in previous posts, but some of that inside baseball (pun intended) went way over my peanut sized head.

I think the NC cut of the O's viewing market goes through central NC to the coast. They had to split the state up somewhat with the Braves is my guess, ie. one team not take all of the state.

ExpressVPN. Works without fail (knock on wood). I used PIA for about three years with pretty good results, but it was finally nailed by MLB's VPN detectors. I'm in NC. I tried Nord, but it only worked for about two weeks. Then no matter how I tweaked it, it could not break through.

I had DirecTV for several years, mainly for MASN, until I realized I was not really watching anything but four channels but mainly MASN for what added up to almost $1000 a year. So I figured out the VPNs. I haven't looked back and it's saved me about $850 a year.

Do you have a link for that offer from MLBPAA? I didn't see it on the page on first look-see. I'd love to go that route than the full price! I've used a VPN the last four years to mostly good results.

You should have seen me before Christmas. I cut 7" off the mane then. As for the beardy stuff, I call it "business casual".

Maybe they have sympathy for the cleaning crew who have trouble cleaning up that tobacco juice in the aisles. Or worse yet, cups full of spit left behind. As a young whipper snapper, I think the highest I'd ever been in my life is when those Skoal Bandit pouches came out. The thinking was "wow, if one of those makes me feel this good, maybe two will be even better." To paraphrase Ralphie from Christmas Story, "nicotiiiiine poisoning". It made a Thunderbird drunken nauseous evening feel like a holiday in comparison.
