  1. "No one goes there anymore. It's too crowded." - Berra
  2. Heston "you'll have to pry this bat out of my cold dead hands" Kjerstad
  3. Vacationers who filled the stands Saturday probably drove home Sunday since it's a night game instead of 1:35pm.
  4. Me, too. Yesterday looked packed, though. Looked close to a sell out though I did not see the count in the box score.
  5. He's an O's fan. He's been seen at OPACY often.
  6. I'd ask for $20k not to do it.
  7. Are you guys watching over the air or on cable or satellite? I'm watching via YouTube TV on ESPN. So far, no interruptions.
  8. I'd be ok if they were miked and it's just them chatting with each other. But to have to think about questions is messed up.
  9. It's nuts. I hate it. He's gonna be talking and he'll be hit smack in the kisser when the infield is tossing the ball around after a K.
  10. Laura caught that. She called BS.
  11. Rangers CF's beard looks like a surgical mask pulled down.
  12. One of the color guys sounds so much like one of the hosts of Section 336 (O's podcast I like). It's uncanny. I think it's Josh Sroka whom I'm thinking of.
  13. Thank you baby jeebus, Hays.
  14. This could be another Gerardo Parra deal at the deadline. I agree.
  15. Another bandmate of mine (we have an all Kinks cover band), Peter Holsapple of the dB’s, toured with them as a fifth member in the Green era. His acoustic guitar is what you hear on Losing My Religion and he’s with them in the MTV Unplugged show. He played on our latest, too.
  16. I’m partial to Murmur and Chronic Town., but I agree, a lot to love on Reckoning. Our family trio got to record with their original producer, Don Dixon, at Mitch Easter’s studio (the other REM co-producer for our debut and this March for our follow-up LP). We’re looking for a label to release it on.
  17. And Buck and Mills have The Baseball Project, which have about four albums of baseball related songs. I got to introduce my kids (in our family band) to Mills in late ‘23 when we played in Athens. And I got to share a stage with him in a tribute to Big Star’s 3rd album when they played it in NC six years ago.
  18. Cold as milk and smooth as silk!
  19. My introduction to Michael Shannon was his portrayal of Kim Fowley (their creepy manager) in the Runaways movie. Since then, I’ve seen him in Boardwalk Empire and the George Jones mini-series. He’s even done a tour of REM’s Murmur album and Chronic Town EP with some of the REM guys joining him onstage. Kind of a tangent, but happy that my interest in Joan led me to his acting. One of the first songs I learned on electric guitar was her I Love Rock and Roll and I’ve become friends with one of the original Blackhearts, ie. Eric Ambel (Del Lords, Yahoos, etc.).
  20. I saw her open for The Who many years ago. She rocks.
  21. I like that. I'm with you.
