He may not be totally gone. Wouldn't be surprised if he clears waivers and accepts a AAA assignment. Not a bad depth piece to have in case of injury.

Probably Thursday.

It should be fun to hear Elias' new comments tomorrow.
"Upon extensive consideration and a thorough review process, we determined that Jackson reached the milestones we set in place. He also met the targets and thresholds we envisioned. We are confident that this young player will continue the path forward and continue to check all the boxes that have been set in place for him."

Kemp made a helluva sliding catch today.
Absolutely. Nice curtain call.
I hope he catches on with another team. Seems like a fantastic guy with a ton of positive energy. -

Where does Jackson bat in the line up? 9th?
1st or 2nd against righties. Start it off with Jackson and Gunnar.
-
Most important question, who is going to buy the kid beer? Perhaps a clubhouse attendant, or does Gunnar let him borrow his ID?

Zero reason for him to not play a whole lot right now. Santander is struggling, so he can get the occasional day off. Hays sucks right now. Mullins looked better today but he can get the occasional day off.
All in all, plenty of at bats for Cowser.
Cowser looks so confident at the plate right now. He's putting together even better at bats than Adley and Gunnar.
-
Cowser is proving that he not only deserves everyday playing time, but being in the top part of the order. Gunnar, Adley, Cowser, and Holliday is an OBP buzzsaw. Put them at the top half of the order and let Mounty and Santander clear the bases.

This interview is priceless. I was surprised that he suggested allowing tack could be helpful, but makes sense. Really hadn't thought of it that way.

I actually thought it was amusing because Kevin got Ben to talk about "Love Language"...its funny...I believe Ben's wife is either a doctor or therapist or some sort of highly educated person..and it shows Ben as a " country boy"...Once I had Ben on my show...and Ben gave me(on the air) a recipe for "Squirrel Stew".it was a riot...I think baseball announcers should have leeway and be able to digress from the game...Harry Caray and Steve Stone did it all the time...I love Kevin Brown...but you know that...but between Palmer and Ben..I think we have a very entertaining team...
Fun fact: if squirrel makes you squeamish, it can be replaced with rabbit or raccoon in the same stew recipe. Rabbit tastes a bit more like chicken. But if you have some fresh venison that is a delicacy.
Yeah, I grew up in the backwoods. My Dad had one rule: if you kill it you eat it.

I loved Enrique Bradfield's air traffic control after a double the other day. Wouldn't mind going with that theme, as our birds are in flight these days. Perhaps basic air traffic signals for more insignificant plays, and dramatic signals for clutch hits.
With that said, I'm cool with the homer hose coming back. It is awesome. -

I still cant believe the Red Sox lets Devers play third. He should be 1st base or DH. He can not hold down third defensively. And he is getting worse and worse.
Their SS and outfield were trash today as well...

Strikes out the side. What a pick up by Elias last year!
For every Tony Kemp, there is a Danny Coulombe. We get frustrated by some of Elias' decisions, but he can find hidden gems.

Coulombe is nasty

OK, what happened, did Ced overrun 2B???
He tried to take 3rd and was tagged before Mounty touched home.

Urias is so lost right now.

Wanna know what is more valuable than max velo and high spin rates? Pitching into the 7th inning.
With the plague of elbow injuries going on right now, this fact needs to be reinforced.

Tony Kemp being on this roster is a disgrace.
The fact that he is getting playing time is an even bigger disgrace.

Cowser, the first of the young Turks to make an impact...more to come...
I surely hope Cowser wasn't a part of the Armenian Genocide.
-
There is no off-season for them to rest and recover anymore. Instead they chase max velo over the winter.
@Can_of_corn would be pissed if I mention by name a company that rhymes with thrivetime.

It's on everyone: the players, the organization's expectations, hitters having advanced technology, and businesses like Driveline catering to the demand.
I know you're looking for an argument, but the fault isn't on just one thing.
