  1. I'm sure this was a mutual decision by the team and player after all parties were aware of the situation and risks.
  2. https://twitter.com/Buster_ESPN/status/1697301612627394890?s=20
  3. Best scene (and there were many good ones) in one of my favorite movies.
  4. Isn’t the concern with Hall control and consistently throwing strikes?
  5. Sorry if asked previously, but haven't read every post. Does Perez have Closer "stuff"?
  6. Bauman sucks so bad these days that even the Braves score off of him while playing the Mets.
  7. As long as their arms hold up, he and Grayson seem to be a formidable 1–2 for the remainder of the season, and hopefully deep into the playoffs
  8. Looking forward to see where Bradfield lands on this list.
  9. Home: 36–23 Road: 37–22 As a whole, they don’t seem to get rattled. Levelheaded mentality will hopefully translate in the playoffs
  10. Ah man i’ve been pulling for Fuji but this….
  11. Perez closes tomorrow night when we get back in the W column.
  12. He faced the motherlode of good teams in July and his ERA was 0.00
  13. Since this list is "at a glance" and updated weekly, I'll buy us being ranked #1. Overall, though, I think we are a Top 5 team. If the playoffs started tomorrow, the teams against whom I wouldn't favor us in a best-of-seven series are the Rangers, Astros, Braves and Dodgers. Very much looking forward to the Houston series.
  14. Sure, it’s B/R, but just seeing a list like this so far into the season is pretty amazing. The Orioles have an MLB-best 20-7 record and plus-60 run differential since July 5, and with two more series wins last week they sit No. 1 in these rankings for the first time in years. Latest rankings
  15. You and I were born in the same year and my memories echo yours. Particularly Mike Boddicker. And I could’ve sworn the liner off Garry Maddox’s bat was a single, but Cal was right there and snared it lol. Wild thinking back to listening to Chuck Thompson and John Miller on WBAL and WFBR with my handheld radio and plug-in stereo earbuds. Simpler times that make me smile.
  16. The Tides bullpen continued to pitch well after Povich’s exit… then Givens retired six-of-seven batters for 2.0 scoreless innings. https://www.milb.com/news/lester-hits-walk-off-homer-in-extras-for-tides-win
