I think we can win the division this week. We’re 3.5 games up on the Rays( our only division competition). We have 2 more against Angels, 3 with Boston and 3 with St. Louis. 6-2, even 7-1 is actually likely. Meanwhile, the Rays play Boston twice who just beat them and then 4 against the hot Mariners. If we can take a 4.5/5 game lead into Tampa, it would be nearly impossible for them to catch us.

I would imagine Mountcastle throws somewhere in the 90-95 range. These are big leaguers. Everybody has a great arm

Flaherty isn’t good. But we should have known that when we traded 3 mediocre minor league players for him. He reminds me of Bud Norris. The fact that Zac Gallen outlasted him in this game is brutal

I’d much rather watch Cole Irvin then Jack Flaherty pitch.
