It was considered to be a college hitter heavy draft, so yes, we drafted for need. Probably why Elias deserves a little grief for not drafting more pitching in previous years. -
I was shocked not to see Armbruester on more lists here. He’s going to take a lot of folks by surprise that don’t follow minor league baseball.

Definitely a negotiation ploy. I noticed on Twitter, the Verge believed him though. Maybe they have inside info? Not sure. Our winning ways may help the odds he signs IMO. 25-40% odds?
