  1. I'm assuming he'll be in a strict platoon when he does play so I'll go with .800 or higher.
  2. The Ferrari's about to get the tarp put over it.
  3. Except that he's got that massive extension until he's 38 to keep playing for. I dont think he'll be retiring anytime soon. He's still productive and likely will continue to be, but probably a good idea not to play him in CF anymore. It seems like none or at least very few of these 30 year+ extensions ever work out.
  4. With 86.3 career bWar, he looks like a near lock for the HOF. But his best days are far behind him. Will turn 33 on the IL. He's only played in 100+ games one season since 2019 and that was just 119.
  5. And having some of the best stuff in the majors before even pitching a game. Enjoy the moment.
  6. Love all the old school stats like RBI's, batting 300, 20 wins, 30 HR's. 30-30 seasons are still considered a big deal. Heck, 20-20 seasons are huge too. OPS is really the only new stat that I pay alot of attention too when I go to BBBref. Bradish only went 5 innings so I wasn't too upset that the lead was blown. If he had went 7 innings, yeah thats a tough one. But 5 innings, way too much can happen with the bullpen in those starts.
  7. I'm curious why Hyde has Mullins in the lineup tonight. .389 OPS vs LH this year. I mean, as long as Mckenna's on the team he should probably be in a platoon with Mullins.
  8. They all have the extra year now. Holliday has the extra year too. I dont think Elias is playing that game with Mayo. He wants to see some improvement defensively.
  9. I would hope it was a humbling experience for him. Which means some adjustments are required.
  10. Burnes, but I see Wells got close to as many votes. Im not sure what the fascination is with making him a reliever other than the tired-arm, stamina thing.
  11. Scott 2024: 9.7 BB9, 8.3 K9 in 13 innings. Hard pass on anything but a lower level prospect. I dont see Elias even wanting him with those numbers.
  12. Yea his asisist last night was impressive. Those are the type of plays that get some recognition, not that a relief pitcher has much of a shot at winning a GG. Seems unlikely even though Cano could get 70 innings again this year. Make a few more plays like that and then it becomes a situation IMO.
  13. What was going on with him staring down Kremer on the HR? I've rarely if ever seen that, but then I dont exactly watch much baseball outside of the O's. It was a pretty in your face moment. Maybe Kremer brushed him back on some previous pitch I missed.
  14. Yeah the expectations are through the roof for Bradish's 1st start, fresh off a UCL strain against the Yankee's of all teams. I hope he rises to the occasion. This game decides first place for another day, so the stakes couldnt be any bigger.
