  1. I would hope it was a humbling experience for him. Which means some adjustments are required.
  2. Burnes, but I see Wells got close to as many votes. Im not sure what the fascination is with making him a reliever other than the tired-arm, stamina thing.
  3. Scott 2024: 9.7 BB9, 8.3 K9 in 13 innings. Hard pass on anything but a lower level prospect. I dont see Elias even wanting him with those numbers.
  4. Yea his asisist last night was impressive. Those are the type of plays that get some recognition, not that a relief pitcher has much of a shot at winning a GG. Seems unlikely even though Cano could get 70 innings again this year. Make a few more plays like that and then it becomes a situation IMO.
  5. What was going on with him staring down Kremer on the HR? I've rarely if ever seen that, but then I dont exactly watch much baseball outside of the O's. It was a pretty in your face moment. Maybe Kremer brushed him back on some previous pitch I missed.
  6. Yeah the expectations are through the roof for Bradish's 1st start, fresh off a UCL strain against the Yankee's of all teams. I hope he rises to the occasion. This game decides first place for another day, so the stakes couldnt be any bigger.
  7. Whenever a pitcher has a low amount of K's it makes you wonder now is there an issue. Hope its not serious and something a few weeks of rest will resolve.
  8. Defense is probably part of the reason Kjerstad isnt in RF . Elias seems to put an emphasis on it. Still Kjerstad could be DH'ing or learning to play 1B. Maybe he's bad there too. I think I've read a report saying he didnt look good at1B either. I think next year alot more PA"s will open up for him and even more so if they don't pick up O'hearn's option.
  9. Yeah, I was expecting another horrible misplay reading the comments, but that ball looked pretty difficult to catch to me. Not sure Santander would have made that at all. Unless he was playing a step or two deeper.

I actually miss Jim Hunter. His voice was just smooth and he didnt get overly tacky or corny like Brown occasionally will. Hunter could be a cheerleader at times but never felt nauseated by it like I would with Bordick. Hunter was underrated.
  11. The Roberto Alomar 1B slide always thought was pretty cool. I'm indifferent to headfirst slides now that they have the mitt gloves.
  12. Nothing like a nice, comfortable slide into what looks like astro-turf
  13. I'm happy that Elias isn't going to let Holliday ride out his horrendous slump while burning a year of service time to do it. I'd much rather have Holliday at 26 years old than the 20-year-old not ready version he is now. McKenna, im a little shocked over but when you're on the 40-man good things like this tend to happen. So good on him. This frees up some playing time for Urias which may or may not be a bad thing, since they won't recall Norby. Have to feel for Norby at this point. He must feel pretty frustrated, hit another HR last night. He's trying.
  14. O's have Fabian behind Bradfield and Mullins will likely decline after '25 when he becomes a FA. I think one of those two should be able to hold down CF. Beavers could be in the mix as well.
