  1. Cabrera and Bender for Stowers, Norby, Mordan and a lottery ticket/recent draft pick/B- type prospect?
  2. And Cabrera would still be high on my list. Some injury concerns with him, so I’m not sure how far I would extend for him but I would look into it for sure. Norby and Stowers make some sense as part of the deal although they may be older than Miami would like.
  3. You mean the guy whose K rate has dropped 3.5 Ks per nine and whose walk rate is higher than his K rate? No thanks. A more below the radar move would be adding someone like Anthony Bender. Wouldn’t have to give up too much for him. Try to get them to take back Urias (to replace Arraez at second) as part of the deal..even paying some of his salary if needed. Add in a guy like Max Wagner and maybe a lottery ticket Intl player or someone who was a recent draft pick. Something along those lines.
  4. It’s funny…feels like he’s had a bad yea but the ERA is under 3. Obviously he has had some troubling peripherals and poor command and control at times though. Great start tonight. Str% about 64%.
  5. Yea, Tiger SHOULD have. He dominated his sport unlike anyone ever has in basically any sport. He absolutely wins way more if he wasn’t a knucklehead, didn’t get hurt, etc….thats not even up for debate.
  6. He’s an amazing talent. Im Not doubting that. I’m just saying, let’s pump the brakes a little on him until we see him over a larger sample size.
  7. The question shouldn’t be, who gets here first. The question should be, how do we get them both here and play them enough where it’s worth it?
  8. But the point is, who is that pitcher? Who will be available? I just don’t see that guy coming available.
  9. I have no desire to get into a semantics argument with you fools. Lol End of the day, Tiger did not achieve what he could and should have. I think that about Nick as well although it is different reasons for both guys.
  10. Sure, injuries are the reason he “underachieved” but it doesn’t change the idea that he did in fact, underachieve. He did not achieve nearly what he should have. Griffey Jr could be in that category too.
  11. Just a bunch of stats that we give no credence to during a season but when you see stats like that, you really see how nice his career was.
  12. Tiger Woods is both the GOAT and an underachiever. He should have 25+ majors and 100+ wins. You can be really good and still fall short of what you should be. Nick should have competed for batting titles. His OBP should have been more 380+ OBP guy vs 350+. He loved the game but didn’t seem to eat, breath and sleep it. Nothing wrong with that. Just think had he had that attitude, he would have been even better.
  13. The babip vs DeLeon is 289…yet the BA against him is 180 and the OpS against him is 501. His K rate is over 14. His BB rate is just over 2. He has a 6:1 k/bb ratio.
