  1. Lol, it's easy to be a Stowers hater because he's clearly sucking right now. Your opinion changes when the wind changes directions. Stowers probably does need to go back down because it's in his head right now. He's having terrible PAs and that play in RF was inexcusable, but he's not a lazy player or a bad outfielder.
  2. That's literally the first time that has happened in the big leagues. Literally, Just because you foresaw an error back in April 1st doesn't make you some kind of soothsayer.
  3. You have to wonder how fast they expected Bautista to warm up. He looked like a guy who was not warmed up right when he came on.
  4. McKenna is a better overall defensive outfielder than Stowers. He covers more ground, has better footspeed, and gets betters jumps. Stowers has a slightly better arm but McKenna's arm is still above average.
  5. The only bloop that was catchable in his career that fell in front of him was last year against the Red Sox. C'mon man, you can't just make stuff up. You know I will call you on it.
  6. What of late makes anyone think Bautista will be efficient tonight?
  7. Really, when did he do that before in the majors? That was his first major league error.
  8. I agree, I'd rather have Cano pitch to Lowe.
  9. Lol... How many times did you say, I love Stowers? Nothing cracks me up when people claim victory on players when the said something completely different before.
  10. Wow, time for Stowers to go back down. He's not doing anything to help this team right now.
  11. Nice start overall. Too bad he couldn't get that last out to get through 6, but considering the way he started, good start.
  12. I think you run Rodriguez back at there with a reliever warming in case someone gets on.
  13. Yep. Something I've never been a fan of.
  14. Nice job by Rodriguez bearing down there. back to back 98s to finish off the inning. I like the pitch call. Rustchman sometimes gets a little cute back there with offspeed pitches with guys who throw in the upper 90s, low 100s.
  15. Rodriguez unable to get his changeup down. He seems to get tired around 80 pitches.
  16. Nobody is a bigger fan of Ben McDonald's social media posts than Kevin Brown.
  17. If you're going to give up homers, give up solo homers.
  18. Stowers is at his best when he going to all fields. Pulling outside sliders is a great way to ground out to second. I've clearly been a Stowers guy, but I won't lie, he's looking the worse I've ever seen him at any level. He's batting scared and with no plan. No way a proper swing decision is swinging at a 1st pitch outside low slider.
  19. I agree on both. Since Elias and Hyde have some kind of secret contracts, we really don't know.
  20. Mountcastle is a good runner when he gets going. He reminds me of Reimold in that regard.
  21. They weren't good. As good as Elias is as identifying hitters, drafting and developing starting pitchers is not exactly his calling card. We were told he would use these hitters to find impact starting pitching that he refuses to draft. He's traded Hernaiz (5th round pick) for Irvin (in AAA after failing).
  22. I don't think Elias us going anywhere, but I'm starting to lean towards that Elias is not the guy to get this team to a World Series after his last offseason. I'll give him one more year and offseason, but if he remains risk adverse, he's not the guy to take the team to next level. A real CEO/owner would be looking at the Rays and Braves for assistants. For now, I'm going to hope that something happened last offseason that threw Elias for a loop (lack of budget, market spiraled on him, etc) and that he'll be better prepared this offseason.
