  1. Perez getting used like a rented mule by Hyde lately.
  2. Honestly, it should be a skill that a catcher can get better at so not sure why it does not seem like he's improved much if any since being in the majors.
  3. He's a very good blocker and his fistbumps per end of inning ratio is strong.
  4. Wow, Gunnar is fast but damn that 3B has no arm.
  5. I actually don't think that's true at all. We've seen many rookies making their debuts or playing early in their career against the Orioles and doing well. I know some players get off to bad starts, but it's pretty crazy how bad a lot of the Orioles top prospects have looked to start off their careers. They eventually figure it out, but its just uncanny how bad they have been.
  6. Slater never makes it look easy out there! lol
  7. Listen to what Ben is talking about how important it is for the catcher and pitcher to be on the same sheet of music. Then he talked about how much McCann has caught Eflin already. Hint-hint (Adley is not a great game caller)
  8. Was it him yelling, "Fudge" that gave it away?
  9. While I think the PNC "boring" actor is actually a good actor, that commercial is getting as played out as that Sarasota commercial was about five years ago.
  10. If this ump is going to give 3 inches off the plate, Springs going to be real tough.
  11. Springs is making some nice pitches. Sometimes you got to tip the cap.
  12. When do we start to wonder why most of the Orioles prospects have really struggle when they come up? I get it that it takes a bit sometimes, but why completely clueless? Why would they not instill that oppo approach, especially when it's clear the pitchers are pitching these guy there early on?
  13. He's in 1-2, 0-2 counts every at bat. The first at bat he got started off with a 92 MPH fastball that he was late on and swung through. Then in the second at bat, sure as a clock is right twice a day, he got started off on a low-outside changeup that he swung through. Basically he's pressing and out thinking himself, but what I don't like is he's constantly trying to pull everything. Why these guys don't start with the idea of going oppo early on until they get a couple of knocks instead of trying to hit everything 900 miles pullside.
  14. Mayo needs to think RF for awhile and stop trying to pull everything.
  15. Lol at Jimenez's "speed".
  16. Sounds like a hard splitter. Just another new made up term.
  17. Would be nice for Jimenez to actually hit a home run.
  18. They were letting the nonsense get in the way!
  19. Mountcastle still sometimes looks like he's never seen a changeup.
  20. Santander drilled that and it's still wasn't out by a ton. Ball is not flying well.
  21. Seems like the air conditioning must be making the ball not fly. Some well hit balls that have just died so far for both teams.
  22. If they can hit. They're going to pitch well, but this lineup is pretty brutal.
  23. A year or two and that's a home run.
  24. Holliday is seeing the ball well right now.
  25. Dang, Suarez lucky Walls has no pop whatsoever.
