  1. We have no idea what Hyde said. But I'll bet it was one of those things you don't say to umpires if you want to stay in the game.
  2. I don't care if it's unicorn sweat. It looks bad and it won't last.
  3. Agreed. We don't need a frat house in the dugout.
  4. It's all over the place, and you're right. It's too much. Gotta love that we're supposed to be so excited about legal gambling, and they have a huge disclaimer at the bottom of every screen offering help for gambling addictions. In any sane universe this would be a red flag.
  5. That's what happens when you don't draft pitching
  6. I don't think Mountcastle swung at a single strike
  7. I think Hyde wanted to get him to finish the 5th. Oh well.
  8. They should have called it a "Boddicker"
  9. I think we shock the world (or at least MLB) and take all 3.
  10. What if we find someone who throws a 98 MPH sinker? Are we screwed? How about one guy who throws a 95 MPH sinker and a second guy who rolls the ball to the plate 4 MPH?
  11. I've always wondered about that strategy though. What if both of them suck on a certain day. Say GRod gets knocked out in the 2nd and Wells does no better. Bullpen has to cover 5 innings and both starters are unavailable until the 5th day. I suppose you either need other bullpen arms who can provide length or good AAA shuttle options?
  12. Starter knocked out early. Wells with a huge performance. (Mostly) good defense. The Mountain finally closes the door on 7 pitches
  13. I don't think Ponson was quick enough to build any momentum
  14. Just wondering... I think if the O's are really in playoff spot mode, that could be a place where Elias moves the chess pieces.
  15. Does Mountcastle still have options? I'm wondering if at some point we see O'Hearn replace him on the roster for a stretch this year.
  16. Wow... Ian Kennedy is still in the league?
  17. Semantics I suppose "What would have constituted the biggest potential collision differential in O's history?"
  18. The point is pulling any two players, any era I totally forgot to consider someone like Boog Powell and Mark Belanger. Or Aparicio
  19. Hairston had a little muscle on him. Maybe early Brian Roberts? Belle would have pulverized him.
  20. What would have constituted the biggest potential collision differential in O's history? Sam Horn and Jeff Fiorentino? Chris Davis and Joey Rickard?
