    He ran out of gas. And he didn't seem to fill up the tank in the minors. Pretty simple.

    The 1979 team was a blast. I just wish that at 12 years old I had been more able to appreciate that team. If I recall the only games we could watch were away games on Channel 13?

    Kjerstad also hit the ball hard his first two ABs to the warning track. He looks very comfortable at the plate.

    Good point. I'm shocked that the O's have done so well (14-8) since Bautista went down.

    @Roy Firestone, you're so much more optimistic outside the game threads. The competitive window is wide open. Really hoping that Elias is able to add top notch pitching in the offseason.

    Mansolino has been excellent this season. He took a shot there it didn't work.
