  1. Who has less of a baseball body... DJ Stewart or Vogelbach?

    DL Hall 2023

Put him in the bullpen in somewhere in front of Bautista. If he can avoid walks I would think he can help shorten games
  3. I want Wells fresh in September and beyond, slot him somewhere in the setup role in front of Bautista.
  4. I miss Mel Proctor and John Loewenstein
  5. It will be a statue of him face first on the grround with a ball on top of his head
  6. Well he can't steal 1B, but he sure seems to have fun once he gets there!
  7. I think McCann doubled his batting average tonight
  8. So glad we never traded Westburg. He is going to have a solid career with the O's
  9. Look at all the payroll the Mets added this year. And then all that they had to shed at the deadline.
  10. I don't see how Boone is NY's manager next year
  11. He takes the nickname "Wheels" from JJ Hardy
  12. He's faster than Sal Fasano. Of course there are glaciers that are faster than Sal Fasano
  13. Remember when Austin Hays was an All-star? Good times
  14. Bradfield is 2 for 2 with a stolen base in the FCL tonight. Call him up!
  15. Starts off in the Florida Complex League with a 2 for 2 with his first stolen base
  16. Understandable, but whose name would he even reasonably name? Britton? He said he was healthy and ready. A coach? Nonsense, the buck stopped with Buck. Ubaldo? Well Buck, you put him on the mound instead of the best reliever in baseball.
  17. He only had to name one name, himself. Yes?
  18. "I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with ME!" - Rorschach
  19. Shane McLanahan just went on the IL with forearm discomfort. Tough for the Rays, but they'll probably just get a pitcher from their frontline starter vending machine.
  20. Might be because Gausman has reverse splits this year. In 21 starts 620 OPS vs RH, 714 OPS vs LH
  21. It would be great for sure, but I'm skeptical that he is going to be ready to provide consistent length in the rotation.
  22. Here's my best case scenario for the playoffs. That is if everyone is healthy and performing Rotation: Bradish, GRod, Gibson, Flaherty Bullpen: Bautista, Fuji, Cano, Coulombe, Baumann, Hall, Means, Wells, Kremer You only need 4 starters in the playoffs, which gives 9 relievers. Means, Wells and Kremer will also be available to give some length from the pen if a starter is shaky.
  23. If all are producing, I'd be excited about a future Orioles infield of Henderson, Holliday, Ortiz, Mayo (1B) and Adley, with Westburg as a DH/backup for all of the positions.
  24. I'm guessing that Elias is counting on Means, Wells and Hall to be the impact bullpen additions. It's a risky gamble that could pay off, we shall see.
