  1. I love seeing Trevor Story with an OPS lower than Mateo’s. Wait, is this where CoC downvotes me cause I find joy in an opposing player’s misery?
  2. I went with Gunnar. Adley or Bradish could win, there's nothing wrong with either. SG made an appealing case for Bautista but I don't buy it 100%.
  3. I never said baseball didn't have a history of PED issues.
  4. Ah, bringing up world records for sprint times in a sport that has no PED issues. That's a great argument right there. Add Darrell Green to the list of incredibly fast athletes from 30+ years ago. I would venture to say that some athletes of yesteryear could hang with some players today. Just not as many of the players from yesteryear could do it. I'm fairly sure that Rickey Henderson would hold his own if he were playing today. I'm sure Deion Sanders would be able to hold his own. I think Mateo is the fastest Oriole I've ever seen though. This is random, but I remember being at a game and seeing David Dellucci go from first to third and thinking that dude was really fast, too.
  5. Not disappointed at all. It was a rough road for him to start but he's been tremendous since coming back from the minors. A strong finish (over an extended period of time, too) makes up for how rocky the season started for him. I agree with Froberto Duran. I will have very high expectations for him next year.
  6. He is a leading contender for why I’m excited for next season. He’s at the top of the list. If he stays healthy, he will get CYA votes next year. He has been CYA level since his return.
  7. Bummer. Oh well. At least the Yankees had the worst season they possibly could have had.
  8. The Red Sox are always disappointing. Assuming Tampa wins tonight and so do we, then the magic number is 1, right? And if we win tomorrow night no matter what, that’s the division, correct?
