  1. Anyone bitching about Hyde’s bullpen usage, does he get credit for the lead back right now or are you just being that petty?
  2. That was awesome! O’Hearn is a beast! I also just realized I’m on a big delay compared to some of you guys.
  3. I’m not blaming this game on the umpire but they certainly don’t have the same zone for both teams.
  4. If we traded away Arozarena, Alcantara, Gallen, Thomas and others, I’m sure there’d be incessant bitching here, too.
  5. I don’t believe that. You know a lot about baseball, pay close attention to free agency moves and trades.
  6. When’s it not gonna be a big ask for someone? When’s it not gonna be a big situation for a reliever? All of these guys are going to have to deliver under pressure at some point. If not today and yesterday for Fuji, then when? When’s an acceptable time to ask for a newly acquired reliever to deliver in a high leverage situation?
  7. At some point these guys have to do the jobs they’re assigned to do. You can’t blame every bullpen move that doesn’t go well on Hyde, that’s lazy.
  8. Yeah, there were several choices that were embarrassing not to get. Just totally blanked.
  9. I went with him, too. It’s always a good day when you get to use Mickey Tettleton. I was 8/9 though, couldn’t get the Braves/Angels. @Sports Guyyou could play Casey Kotchman!!!!
  10. Mateo, McCann and Mountcastle in the same lineup? JFC.
  11. I don't think our pitching gets a lot of respect because there isn't a household name in the mix. And we're still trying to figure out if some of these guys are long term solutions (Bradish, yes...Kremer, maybe....Wells, yes) while we're in a playoff hunt. Sorting out our pitching staff is kind of like trying to fix an airplane while it's flying. The OP mentions that we have to face one of the best pitchers in baseball. I don't think any of us would consider anyone in our rotation as one of the best pitchers in baseball, despite the fact that Bradish and Wells have been pitching like it. Like most things around here, I believe we're waiting for the other shoe to drop and these guys to revert back to some median form of average that we're all too familiar with.
