  1. My taste is just fine. The notion that there's this weirdly interesting, consistently under-produced and not-mainstream music is somehow transcendent because not a lot of people appreciate it is the definition of elitist and a snob. Which I know you embrace.
  2. I don't mind watching Mateo suffer at the plate because I know he can pick it in the field at SS. Makes him tolerable. A "your mom" joke is about as original from you as your hipster taste in music.
  3. Cause it's awesome watching this team without him.
  4. It would be awesome if Swervin Cole Irvin could get through an inning or two more unscathed.
  5. Aw, man. Swung at ball 4. Maybe Mateo is heating up again.
  6. I'm sure this is probably too mainstream for you, indie guy.
  7. Oh wow, we got a run on a scorcher that Swanson should have handled.
  8. I feel bad saying this this early in this game but...it just has that feeling. Opposing pitcher has a get right start, keeps our guys off balance all game, our hitters abandon their patient approaches and swing from their heels at everything. Their pitcher cruises through 7 or so. Our starter can't get past the 5th, we waste bullpen pieces that give up more runs and we score a couple late runs but it's too late.
  9. I'm under no illusion that G-Rod is suddenly ready to come back but I'd rather have him out there with the ability to strike guys out instead of Irvin soft-tossing in the middle of the zone.
  10. Irvin can't pitch in the middle of the plate. His stuff is not that good. He has to survive on the corners. And I'm not sure if he is good enough to do that.
  11. It's like...we can't hit crafty lefties. Ever. They're always a problem for us. But we get one in our rotation and they're awful.
  12. Yikes. Glad Irvin hasn't put anyone else on base but the Chubbies are starting to make loud contact.
  13. Pretty sure you can grow ivy everywhere. They had it growing up the batter's eye out past centerfield for years.
