Orioles traded for Godoy!

Hoping for .500 or better month. This team is going to regress, it’s just a matter of when and how much. But if they play .500 the rest of the way, they should make the playoffs.

I don’t feel good about this series, either. But I’m looking forward to whatever banal attempts Kevin Brown makes in commentating on both teams wearing orange and black.

I think our rotation has a chance of becoming a strength. Still too many unprovens. But they’re trending in the right direction. I agree middle relief could be an issue.

Good thing the playoffs aren’t decided on our 7 day ERA in late May. Look, I get it. I’m prone to freaking out, too. But I think we’re all a little on edge because no one expected this start and half of us are paranoid that 2005 is going to happen all over again. But practically every team has a cold spell. I don’t think this team is as bad as it’s been over the past week. I also don’t think they’re a team that can win 105 games. The truth, as it is with most things in life, is somewhere in the middle.

I like Givens but I was worried when we picked him up this off-season that he was at the end of his line. A lot of us remember him being a good shutdown middle reliever while he was here and I think we wrongly assumed he’d still be that guy. He hasn’t been impressive.

This was a terrible idea and I have to think they could have done better.

I’d heed that advice but I can’t quit this dumbass team.

I’m in Bermuda on vacation. Any relaxing I’ve achieved in the past 12 hours has been mitigated by the fact that it looks like the Orioles are trying to blow a 7 run lead to the Indians.

You know it! If this team botches this season it’ll be because of Frazier and Hicks.

Didn’t watch all of the game today, but most of it. IMO, probably the worst this team has looked this year. Flat, uninspired. And on top of it, Mullins is hurt. Not the way to start this series. Hopefully they can take the next two.
