  1. Safe bet. But hey, lots of layers here.
  2. Maybe from a social media standpoint but at the end of the day he's a baseball player. NBA/NFL players have way more followers. And agreed, there's nothing in this whole thing that makes him look *any* good at all.
  3. Hays is probably on the IL, I feel confident about that much. Agreed though, lots of variables. Would have to see what it looks like in the moment if it all came true.
  4. Knew Bauer was a douche, didn't expect him to be anything like that, though. The article today in The Athletic is particularly troubling. Not gonna lie, that statement combined with your avatar is weird AF. No one asked you about your sex life, homie.
  5. I think the risk is higher on Mullins to keep producing, not lose his speed, etc. I mean if the package is headlined by an Eloy Jimenez type, or a Tatis Jr type, plus others, I like our chances. Call it ego if you want, I just think there's some fear that, as CoC said, that Mullins turns into a pumpkin. IMO, there's no real recent comp to a guy like him...drops switch hitting and becomes an all-star talent. People are waiting for the other shoe to drop. So if the deal doesn't get done this year like we all seem to think it won't...if he's still producing next year at this level...and you've got AR up, RMC is producing, Means, G-Rod are dealing...Finally, you can see the rebuild coming together. Do you deal him then?
  6. Noted. I just wanted to see if he'd pick up on my sarcasm.
  7. If those reports from Connolly's article are true, people are looking at Mullins like he's the real deal. Seems to be some belief in the industry that what we're seeing is for real. If that's accurate and those beliefs are widespread, I don't think there's much risk there. That said, I don't think we'd trade him.
  8. They said that they'd have to overpay for Mancini, but I don't know what that really means and I'm wondering if overpaying for Mancini really would be a fantastic return. They'd have to pry Mullins away with a really good package though, that's all I know. Top 25 prospect from a top 10 system and others, for starters.
  9. I know, right? It's an affront to our freedoms and liberties.
  10. OMG, the masks were so oppressive. I don't know how we made it through.
  11. I think we could absolutely get a haul from a desperate team if Harvey pitches great. They’d probably be upset with themselves that Harvey was available for them to sign and blossomed under our esteemed tutelage but figure the two top 5 prospects they’d be giving up are worth it.
  12. I’m over him. Let him be someone else’s health issue. Trade him. If there’s any value there. He’s not a headliner but he should be put in a deal to help get it done. That said, I wouldn’t want someone so injury prone. Dude is Mr. Glass.
  13. Altuve is a great hitter. I don't want to hear any crap about banging on trashcans...he was great before, he was great after.
  14. Bro, I just laid it out for you. The bullpen is taxed. Your answer is that he leaves the starters in for too long and that would...tax the bullpen even more.
  15. I think you're missing the overall point. You need to have starters get to a certain point in the game, or else the bullpen gets taxed early on...kinda like it is now. I'd like it if the Orioles tried the "starter" thing like the Rays do, but we don't have the horses to do it. The guys in the bullpen aren't good enough and they can't work with that strategy because the starters never go long enough to give them a day off. You're saying he leaves the starters in too long, but what's the alternative? Pulling them earlier and taxing the bullpen worse than they already are?
