  1. We had the same top left corner. Ended up with 27. Used two Orioles on the Cleveland row.
  2. I’m talking about the 2024 playoffs.
  3. Not sure. How did Cease pitch in the playoffs?
  4. You could have used Murray again! The six SD 200 game winners is tough. There are six. I see your answer so now I can think of three. When you look, it shows all 200 game winners, not just the Padres.
  5. Whoever wins a WS with their second team will be a factor.
  6. So they did count the combine no hitter participants. And since my answer is the guy who threw a nine inning no hitter only got 25, then I guess they counted guys who pitched for Baltimore but threw their no hitter for a different team.
  7. The Orioles/Rangers guy I used cost us a first rounder, but only got a 0.4 score. I used De Aza and Travis Snider for the other two. Who was the third outfielder on that team and did he also ever play for the Rangers?
  8. I tried to do all Orioles. Couldn’t pull one for SF/Chi. Looked at the list and I saw four that I recognized would work. I used one for the SF/Bal square. The other three, you have to go back 40+ years. I used a popular Tx/SF answer who also played for Baltimore. He got me 20 points. The other seven got me 10.1 total.
  9. 10 today. Has to be my personal best. I’m sure there will fluctuation throughout the day. But my All-Star row combined for 0.42.
  10. 117 today. Halladay was the big point scorer. I thought the first round pick had to be made by the team. Harper is the high score for that square. I also thought ERod would be the high Det/Bos, so I stayed away from him. My Orioles/Red Sox was under 0.5. There are three to four guys that I thought would be pretty high in that square but were lower than Pearce.
  11. 61 today. 3.1 total on my OF column. Used Steve Pearce and Luke Scott. 27 on the Astros gold glove.
  12. 89 today with 55 on the Cubs 200 hit square.
  13. I was surprised that I had the high score for Atlanta/Det. Former Oriole, but played like 35-40 years ago. Also used a former Oriole pitcher for Sea/Det. Total score of 80.
  14. I do think a “non-desperate” package from Baltimore has much more value that a “desperate” package that NYY could currently offer.
  15. 11. Never would have thought that Ryan Klesko at 3 would be my high square.
  16. Did you use a former Oriole? I started playing at 9 and all the squares said 100. Currently I have a 59.
  17. Seems like the NBA and MLB are trying things to spruce up the soft parts of their seasons to compete with the year round NFL product. This is actually a really good idea. Say what you want about Manfred, but these past two years have had good ideas to grow the sport.
  18. Oh my gosh. That’s exactly how I read it. And I totally cheated on the A’s. Then I saw they had 140+ possible answers and couldn’t figure out why my reading comprehension is so bad. Zito, Hudson, Mulder, Stewart, Welch, non of those guys had 10 WAR seasons. Had to go back to Philadelphia to get an answer. Philadelphia and Atlanta wasn’t too difficult to get a 10 WAR season for a pitcher.
  19. I got 84 today. Used former O’s for Was/Stl, Reds Saves, Reds 6+ WAR.
  20. Max Scherzer’s Washington contract had a lot of deferred money. Win win on that one.
  21. 118 today. Couldn’t figure out a better Tor/Hou play besides the most popular one. Went for the easy answer on the Bos 200k. Only 9 total for the SF column.
  22. The reason his free agency was so secretive was because he hired Dexter Fowler to be his advisor.
