Say he went 3/4 and Pham caught the ball, then he goes back to 2nd and can't tag up and everyone here screams about how stupid they are. It's amazing how reactionary everyone is toward this team.

Stuff plus doesn't take command into consideration at all. Fujinami had off the charts stuff plus, but I wouldn't say he had any good pitches. I don't care how much the ball moves if he can't throw it for a strike or get outs on it.

I noticed it before, which I thought was due to the injury and when he came back it was still there. I have no idea, but he was billed as a fastball pitcher and last year the run value on it was -11. He's a changeup guy, that's the only good pitch he has.

I heard the pep talk went well. Shame Grayson didn't listen and not make terrible pitches. Hyde should go out and throw them for him.

I was serious about his fastball not being a good pitch.

Rodriguez has a terrible fastball. It has had negative run value on it and he's been missing arm side all year.

I'm fine with Baumann not being in the pen. I'd like them to upgrade his spot and Perez' spot as well.

We have so many people who are much more qualified to lead this team on this board than Elias and Hyde. There is a real untapped resource for MLB here, they could replace most of the front offices and managers with posters in this thread alone and be much better off for it. Someone should leak the news to MLB. Every teams fans whine about the manager and front office, even more so when they lose a few games.

I think the White Sox series will be interesting. They have some guys who can pitch, but they are a terrible team. They should be a good team to get right against, but the possibility of them struggling with them exists with the ABs they've been taking against pitchers lately.

He's accepted an option before when he was struggling iirc, but they can't just option him, he has to agree and he probably would, he's always been a team guy. Nothing changes with his pay.
