Orioles will be lucky to win 70 games this year. What a dreadful performance against a horrible team. They just can't score runs, they can't hit in any situation, this reminds me a lot of the 2021 team. It's tough to watch. /s

I mean, the Red Sox live with Devers D at 3B thanks to his bat. He might even have a ring, but I'm not positive.

The two most important things in my own opinion are getting on base and slugging. We're 2nd at slugging and 19th at getting on base. They need to get on base at a better clip than .306 as a team. Lots of XBH, 13th in the league in hits overall with 297 with 119 of those being XBH.

It's not just Adley, the entire team would rather swing than walk this year. I don't know if the team philosophy has changed, but they are feast or famine right now. They are striking out against pitchers with low K rates at an alarming rate. The plate discipline is pretty much gone for everyone.

I don't think it helps Kjerstad at all. If Mountcastle is used as a platoon, you likely won't see Kjerstad as DH against a LHP. I doubt they are bringing Mayo up to sit on the bench like Kjerstad. They need to start trading surplus, some of these guys are getting old in AAA.

Right, they've been using it since 2021 in some variation in the minors, it's time to bring it up to the majors.

MLB is not helping the transition to the ML by using the MiL as a testing ground. Train the kids, then bring them up and everything they've been taught turns out to be a lie. Doesn't make sense from where I'm sitting and I hope they fix it sooner than later.
