Yeah, it's weird. He is always staring at his finger like something is bothering him but he stays in the game and pitches pretty well. I guess it's just his thing.

He's always the guy who is doing nothing until he does a lot of things, like a switch got flipped, you sort of have to wait for it.

I guess, I don't know how many years in a row we have to complain about his slow starts like he doesn't have a track record of it and this year is one of his better starts to this point.

He's got something like a .950 OPS against LHP this year. Not sure I'd say it was unexpected.

The way Cowser has hit for 3 weeks is about as bad as Hays. He certainly hit better for the first 3 weeks. He's not hitting anything now and hasn't in a long time.

I said in the game thread and I have no data to back it up, but it feels, to me, that he's chasing a lot more as a LHB than he is as a RHB.
