I don't think they are bringing him up until he can play just about every day. His bat is his carrying tool and he's definitely not showing he's a platoon guy. I'd think he'll probably be up either in Sept. or be on the team next year.

Why? He's had an OPS over 1.000 in the last two years against RHP. He's not a platoon bat. Not even close.

Glad he had a great April, but he's done nothing for a week. Hopefully, he gets back on track sooner rather than later.

I know they are becoming a meme because everyone thinks they are old and over-priced and Stanton fits that bill. They still have a top offense in baseball and they pitch better than anyone but the Red Sox. I'm not going to suggest they are a one month wonder.

He played the Soto ball to LF into a triple too. After seeing reviews on it and all of the photos of it, it's becoming a meme. He overran the ball and it was a totally awkward-looking attempt the whole way.

Yeah, I'd put Hays' shot of throwing him out from that distance at about 80%+. He was completely dead to rights on a decent throw, it's a shame he chucked it 100 feet away. Hopefully, it's something he can get better at. His throws to third seem okay, but his throws to home are pretty brutal.
