  1. The pitch count is high for Suarez.
  2. I dunno, sounds sort of gross.
  3. Here comes the Milkman, and he's bringing really cold milk.
  4. He saw Cole Irvin pitch last night. He's looking over his shoulder.
  5. Santander is a better hitter right now.
  6. I don't think the A's are going to be concerned with much until they get to Vegas in '28.
  7. Probably because he can't play defense and Santander is DH'ing.
  8. Urias batting .269 over the past 10 games, and Cowser lighting it up at .207.
  9. They are facing a guy with an ERA of 0.00!
  10. I don't think Irvin is going to be better than Bradish going forward, I do think they are pushing Bradish back pretty fast and there will be some rust. He's had 3 rehab starts and I know he threw 77 pitches in the last game, but ML hitters are a different beast. I wouldn't be shocked if they start Bradish, and if he gets rocked early they bring in Irvin.
  11. Likely because there aren't 26 players better than him on the 40-man roster right now. Yes, he's off to a terrible start, but the point still stands.
  12. I think it has to be Kjerstad to keep him playing regularly.
  13. Irvin is probably going to be better than Means going forward. I hate to say it, but he looks like he has nothing left and we remember him as an "Ace" on horrible teams.
  14. Heasley wasn't on the team when the pen put up an 8 ERA on the road trip. I don't think it's his one bad outing that is weighing the bullpen down.
  15. Okay, so the starters would be better if we took out Rodriguez' disaster against the Angels? You can't just take out something that happened.
  16. Fans got it right on MLB.com
  17. In fairness, we have bullpen issues. The starting pitching has largely been fine.
  18. Reverse Jinx. I'd gladly buy your Nord for a great Rodriguez season.
  19. I'd still pitch Irvin against the Yankees and let Bradish start FRI night. I said it before this start, so it's not reactionary heh.
  20. I agree it's Irvin and it's not close, but they didn't beat our Ace. He left with the lead. He was excellent as well yesterday.
