  1. From the whole game. The camera angle didn't show Gunnar going into third base, but the live replay right after stayed on him out of the box the whole way.
  2. He was successful, slid Cabrera to death, blew Sota away at 102 and Volpe got on at a ball misplayed by Hernaiz and Judge hit a can of corn.
  3. I think a lot of teams would be risk averse to the prospect cost because of his velo. He's dirty, though. I believe he's always been a starter, not sure if he could go back to that.
  4. I just went to the archive and streamed it. I got 10.77.
  5. I hope Perez can be effective but I feel like we've gotten the best possible version of him in 2022 and he makes me nervous going forward.
  6. I doubt he's going anywhere.
  7. The bonus of that is we'd get to see Miller pitch.
  8. My 3 scores are 10.70, 10.77 and 10.73.
  9. Masyn Winn went 1st to home in 8.66 seconds. Wheels!
  10. 10.70 from the crack of the bat.
  11. In my defense, I did specify "rational person".
  12. For sure, I don't think any rational person thought he was a 1.200 OPS guy. His sample size is still small but I'd be happy with a .750-.780 OPS for the season.
  13. He's obviously cooling off some, I don't think anyone believed he would be 1.000+ OPS guy with a .350 BA. Strikeouts are 30% but he did take 3 walks yesterday if memory serves. I've slept since that game.
  14. JP Sears is pretty good. He's going to give our LHB fits with his sweeper, we saw glimpses of it last year, and he's putting a nice season together.
  15. I think one advantage Kimbrel has that will give him more weight is the amount of strikeouts. He will certainly pass Smith this year and has an outside chance of having more strikeouts than any reliever in way fewer games than Wilhelm and Gossage and they are both HoF'ers.
  16. I think the bullpen ERA on the road trip was near 8. I think sustaining that by outscoring your opponents is going to be a tough road to hoe.
  17. Kevin Brown said - "Future Hall of Famer, PERHAPS, Craig Kimbrel, Future Hall of Famer for CERTAIN, Mike Trout.
  18. They are also giving up a ton of runs and the bullpen is atrocious for the most part. The pythag argument will still be there this year.
  19. I didn't need statcast to tell me Griffey Jr. hit the ball hard with good launch angles, or that Randy Johnson had great extension and a high whiff rate.
  20. Saw this and thought it was pretty funny in regards to Gunnar.
  21. He's given up how many "hits"? 4 or 5 or so? I'm probably misremembering but at least 3 seemed lucky, including today.
  22. I agree. We've been on the wrong side of missed calls that were upheld this season so I don't feel bad for the Angels.
  23. I feel like if it's not absolutely obvious they are going with the call on the field. They aren't showing up the umps, it seems.
  24. Did you see his two run double earlier? Take that away and we aren't in position to win this game.
  25. I believe he would have been in the hole, not on deck.
