I think we all wish he had enough value outside of a 3rd or 4th piece of a trade. I'd love for him to play daily somewhere, we'll see who settles for him at the deadline.

If MIL would have taken Stowers over Ortiz, Ortiz would still be here, in my opinion. 26 year olds with .800 OPS's at AAA aren't highly valued.

I'm sure they've been shopping him for the better part of the past two seasons. Sometimes the issue is you (Stowers) not them (Teams looking for MLB players).

I dunno, 81 OPS+ out of your everyday catcher is better than McCann, I suppose, at 71 OPS+, but he's a pretty automatic out himself.

Texas has been playing well and is getting players back. This series isn't going to throw them into a swoon, especially with Seattle playing Houston, they aren't going to lose much ground if any if Seattle wins one game in that series. Plus, sweeping teams is hard and I never expect a sweep, I'll be glad for 2 wins.

He's in the 81st percentile in exit velocity and 85th in hard-hit rate, this does not track with what your eyes told you on that batted ball. I'd bet he didn't get the barrel on it at all.

If I were a betting man, nobody is paying for Skubal, the price would be insane. Flaherty will go, probably not to us after the last debacle and the back issues.

I predict none of the players you listed from other teams. I predict Basallo is not traded. I was speaking more about what we expect to acquire. None of what has been talked about here, ie Skubal, Miller, etc.

I predict they will make moves and none of the names being thrown around here will be among them.

The Dodgers are a mess, they've been handled by a ton of teams with 1/8th of the payroll. They are going to be big deadline players.
