Don't sleep on Cleveland. Texas dropped 36 runs on the Jays in a 4-game series and then scored 6 runs in the next three getting swept by Cleveland. Of course, they allowed 4 runs per game vs. KC getting swept themselves, but one thing they can do is cool off a good offense. Texas has scored 841 runs this season.
Fuji reminds me of pre-2023 Cano, not in raw stuff but in results. I do think he's salvageable by the right team and could have a nice career in an MLB pen.
According to MLB.com Cleveland has already been eliminated from the WC round. Boston's elimination number is 1, and they aren't a winning team. I don't think I'd say they are fighting tooth and nail for a playoff spot. Toronto clearly is. Pretty sure they aren't winning the division (Cleveland), the division number is 1 with MIN playing LAA tomorrow.
Really changed things for the Braves. They weren't the same team after the week off, their manager was saying it again today, he's trying to figure out how to not make that happen again this year, they are concerned with the off time.
I think you're the one ignoring the facts. You can't pitch your best arms every. single. day. They have to use what they are given to use and sometimes, the results are bad. You thought this was a must win game, I suspect?
