I also believe this. I am, however, unsure if pitching a lot more innings than you ever had would lead to just plain old ineffectiveness due to stamina issues.

I did read the Marlins are definitely looking to add a SP because theirs have underperformed.

He showed no consistency, if he goes 1 good 1 bad again, do you think they are going to trust him going forward for the rest of the year? He had 10 starts before going down, 5 good and 5 terrible. They want consistency, he's had 2 pretty good starts, a 3rd will show he's trending where they want him to. Edit: This has nothing to do with him becoming a successful MLB starter, it's about winning games and putting the best people out there to do that right now.

I think GRod's start tomorrow is going to help tell us if he's going to be the guy we want him to be.

Really not sure what you posted or why, but this is why he hasn't been good this year like I stated in my original post. I'm pretty sure I said I'm not interested as well, but yeah.

I'll probably be in the minority here (what else is new), but I absolutely don't believe that Elias is a slave to whatever Sig wants. John Angelos? Sure, I'll buy that. If they don't make any trades at the deadline and the team has a nice run to finish off the season and makes the playoffs a year earlier than everyone thought they would, I'd expect Elias to do some things in the off-season to augment what we have on the field already.

Lynn is being plagued by LHB this year. The OPS from LHB is ~.300 points higher than his career and the BABIP against LHB is near .400. I'm not saying go after him either, but he's striking a ton of people out and his FIP is about a run and a half better than his ERA.
