  1. The Post has an article about a new hearing this week. To me the title is deceiving. What is the likely hood the Orioles don't appeal a negative decision? https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2018/11/13/nationals-orioles-masn-dispute-could-finally-end-this-week/?utm_term=.bb5585d6277e
  2. He will now. I think one of the most under rated players in hangout land here. This one is going to hurt. This trade is not good unless this slot money leads to Victor Victor Mesa.
  3. Andrews did not do the surgery. Dr. D’Alessandro in Charlotte, NC performed it. I am sure they picked a doctor who knows what he is doing as well. https://www.orthocarolina.com/physicians-pa/detail/donald-f-dalessandro-md Went to Princeton, Med school at Georgetown and interned at Harvard. Nice resume.
  4. Watch out for that Leprechaun!! LOL Harvey to pitch in a Gulf Coast League game. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/orioles/blog/bal-orioles-pitching-prospect-hunter-harvey-to-pitch-in-gulf-coast-league-game-on-saturday-20160621-story.html
  5. Harvey is pitching live batting practice today. Hopefully he can pitch in a live game soon. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/orioles/bs-sp-orioles-notebook-0621-20160620-story.html
  6. With all the back and forth here about the state of the minors I think much of the evaluation will come down to the success's or lack of the same of Dylan Bundy and Hunter Harvey. If they get close to their potentials along with Kevin Gausman the Orioles will have a very strong rotation. Add Chris Tillman in there the starting rotation will be in a position of strength. I know we worry about signing Manny but Tillman is someone I would lock up at the end of this year. He seems very signable to me. If he finishes this year strong and has another good one he will be a very valuable asset.
  7. As a CPA the IRS doesn't have to buy into any of it. Individual income is recognized when received. So Schoop gets an upfront payment it is all income at the time received. Whatever he pays out in the future to these investors/agency is a legal deductible business expense against future earnings. There is no double taxation.
