Why? Would be good for the local economy. Not as if the O's wouldn't get precedence if both teams were scheduled to play. I don't care for the Jays but this isn't the time to be petty about stuff. I'm guessing the Jays or the league will pay the hosting facilities.

I don't mean in the context of one plate appearance, I mean as is presented here, one pitcher throwing hard for the first six batters and another pitcher throwing slower following him. Does it make the second pitcher more effective?

The three players tied for 64th most HR in 2019 hit 28 (28 would have been 10th most in the league in 1968, one behind some guy named Aaron). It's a lot easier to go deep into games when only a couple of guys in the opposing lineups are power threats.

He had a 101 OPS+ over roughly half a season last year. That is acceptable but we have other data that indicates it might not be sustainable. I don't think he's proven himself at this juncture.
