You are forgetting the folks over the last few years that they missed on. Dwight Smith Jr as an example. Also, McCann- 2023- 64 OPS+ 2022- 56 OPS+ 2021- 76 OPS+ Career- 82 OPS+. I'm not seeing any McCann lightning. Frazier is also below his career average OPS.

When a guy has a pronounced weakness against a pitch that 85%+ of pitchers throw and 100% can throw it's fair to question using draft capital on him.
