  1. It's as real as any other stat. Hey look the official scorer made wonky call on that ball hit to the outfield and now three runs are earned that shouldn't be.
  2. He could. A lot of times the charity selections go to bullpen guys so who knows how many slots will be there?
  3. You ain't kidding, that knockoff tupperware he gave me leaked BPA all into my gumbo.
  4. He's currently out with a back injury.
  5. Good think they didn't get his pitch count too high early!
  6. The crew are the types of pretty much serviceable types you'd expect with picks in the 20's. Someone like DJ Stewart is my mind's example of what a late first round pick is pretty likely to turn into. Mullins, Hays and Mountcastle were all Dan's picks.
  7. Do you know that's the strategy, or is that just the strategy you would use in every game? My guess is they are trying to score runs on him.
  8. Gausman was a fine pick. They didn't do him any favors promoting him to the majors to start when his third pitch was so underdeveloped. Mostly Dan picked in the 20's, harder to get value there.
  9. Not as much a Hunter as Harvey.
  10. So does this candidate for the rotation.
  11. Back around 2000 I had to do it when I was on the watch floor and it was....fine. I tried to do it for a couple of months in I think it was '09 and it was brutal.
  12. He also preferred working night shift and when he was out of work would often spend the whole night posting music.
  13. Even being off tomorrow I'm not going to be up for most of this.
  14. I'm not sure why you think Vlad shouldn't be the starter. As for Mountcastle, I'd look pretty hard at Josh Naylor.
  15. Good. I don't care for it when any team's fanbase stuffs the ballot. Glad the O's fans didn't become those fans.
  16. I guarantee you that if Christy could only get guys out by using his best stuff he would have.
  17. Might need some more AAA time.
  18. Well Roy, he mostly bats leadoff so he's going to bat a lot more often in the first inning than any of the other ones. HOWEVER, despite a lot few at bats coming into tonight he has struck out as often in the third as he has the first. (19 times) All this data is super available.
  19. 18 times in 76 games coming into tonight.
  20. I hate the graphic, it looks like progress bars or maybe health bars.
  21. I'm pretty sure he considers himself a scout so there is one.
  22. Not sure anyone can be dense enough to honestly draw a parallel between Jackson and Bronny. James was drafted to keep his father, who is an active NBA player and who had an opt out, happy. The Lakers willingly spent a second round pick to keep LeBron happy. If LeBron James had retired at the end of the 2023 season his son would have gone undrafted.
  23. Dude is 25 that's not worth ALL CAPS.
