Means still waiting, for those of us, like me, who had to look it up. Wonder if he is still waiting on more news on the Orioles, still waiting on whether Correa and the Orioles will agree, or just waiting on Correa's decision. Noteworthy that he attached this tweet to the 2/28 tweet about Correa and the Orioles.

Not surprising. Fun story to follow and root for though.

Money aside, that ridiculous short porch in RF has to look might appealing to Freddie.
Yeah, that would suck having to face him 19 times a year...

I’m guessing these deals will take some time because no way back channel conversations were happening with free agents. That would never occur!!
Never ever occurs in the NFL or NBA either! Never.

Even if/when the Orioles don't do anything, this will still be fun to follow. It should be reminiscent of the NFL/NBA free agency flurry that happens at the beginning of free agency.

Some guy just responded to a tweet from Ramos to see if he has any more Correa news. OH wait, some guy is me.

LOL. Of course, the Mets.

Correa could be an Oriole by tomorrow! lol
Hey, it's fun to at least think about until we hear he is signing with the Cubs or, god forbid, Yankees.

Ok…now, let’s get these numbers figured the F out and get going.
FACTS. LFG. If this was truly the biggest "roadblock," you'd think they'd have an agreement by mid afternoon.

Bob Nieman. Played LF for 56-59 Orioles. Had a 140 Ops + in his four years. Contended for AL batting championship in 58, but got hurt and missed qualifiying by 30 or so plate appearences. Played his rookie and second year with SLB. Hit homers in first two ML at bats. Didn't count that because it was with Browns in 51. Just a forgotten man but "Pretty Good."
Nice, for sure he can be included. A littleeeeeeee bit before my time though

Koji almost qualifies, but was with the team for 2.5 years.
I would add Conine, Rodrigo Lopez, Darren O'Day and Miguel Gonzalez
Nevermind on O'Day and Miggy, didn't see the retired for 5 years part.

Ah, we gotta talk about something, I guess.
I wonder if they still want Lopez to start?
Unless they’ve given up on Alex Wells/Akin, they have to be in the rotation. Too many potential starters need innings for Tyler Wells, at least for now, so he is for the pen.
I think Fry has lost it and he gets DFA-Ed, but I’d love to be wrong.
Would love to see a Scott trade but he demonstrated his trade value(small) last summer.
Small Sample Sie, but Lopez seemed very comfortable-and good-in the pen last year. I don't think he has any value as a starter.

Not saying you're wrong, but I thought he was signing with the Tigers for 10/$275 before the lockout. Then he didn't. Maybe this is why?
Not saying you're wrong, but the Tigers did sign Baez before the lockout.

Wild Bill!
Good times! Peace 21 had some info at times, though I don't remember if it was legit. I do think he broke the Tejada to Astros trade. I recall Belkast having news about the O's being interested in someone (Nomar to play first?) but he first had to change diapers and would get back to us later. The board was really funny that night. "Change those diapers, Belkast!"

I’m not getting my hopes up but Clark to my knowledge has a solid reputation. I don’t listen to him often but he does not have a history of throwing stuff out there. Obviously if there was an offer it was months ago.
This is where I'm at. Not expecting anything either, but it's fun to talk about. And agreed on Glenn Clark.

As a baseball fan who wants to have fun summers watching the Orioles, I love it. Get it done. But as a realist, I know there are risks involved. But with so little money committed over the next several years, I say why not?

Nope, this is fun to think about but I think (or hope) that we all know it doesn’t have a chance of actually happening. A guy can dream though
With that said, the Lyles signing (which I did not like) was surprising and showed, perhaps, a willingness to spend. It was bizarre, and I think you could have gotten someone for much cheaper, but that was the largest FA contract this team has given out since... Gallardo?

Not by anyone but this one source. FWIW, I don't believe Roch or anyone else has poured cold water on it either, as Roch loves to do with national rumors.
