I think the trade deadline is going to be dissppinting and underwhelming. My guess is they get another "veteran innings eater" aka more of what we have, and then we get a standard puzzling Elias Fraizer/Aguliar/Phillips move. We don't help the log jam and we hear about how a "deal couldn't be worked" aka we want to hoard prospects. I have serious doubts that they make some kind of push us over the edge flashy move.

It would be great if they had a hitter bat behind him who can drive him in. How many teams do picthers just pitch around him. This team desperately lacks that middle of the order bat, no matter how "patient" it is

Yea I looked at his stats, and I think he only has 3 multi hit games. If he has a 3 hit game it would probably raise his numbers by a lot.

If it's any consolation it took Adley 40 games to have an OPS above .700 and it didn't stay above .700 until 45 games

Yea I think they know they do. But I am worried they completely fall before guys really become available in July, and they just decide to do nothing because they are out of contention. Or they keep up with acquiring the same old same old type of pitchers and trade for the Cole Irvins of the world

No one is trading anyone in May. We will have to limp to July and hope we are still above .500 before anything happens
