Hell where is that thread that’s called “they all break” If people want to blame something they should blame Elias for completely ignoring drafting pitchers and putting all the eggs in the Grayson and DL basket which was a problem form day 1. we don’t sign pitchers except for the Gibsons of the world, we don’t draft pitchers, and we have yet to trade for any and I doubt we get some big time ace. No idea how they figure out the pitching issue, they just seem to want to kick the can down the road

My issue is NY and Toronoto are up our butt and Houston and even Angels right behind us in the WC standings. 2-3 teams are going to fall eventually and when the AAAA guys go back to playing like AAAA players I am worried they will be too infatued with them to cut them loose. You can only ride out the Tim Beckams and Alejandro de Aza's so far. Imagine we win 90 games but miss the playoffs like the Jays did a few years ago. At this point missing the playoffs is a huge dissapointment.

I have a feeling that will happen with most guys. They won't promote them unless they are forced to by the rule 5 or they turn 25. They obssess over 40 man spots even though their are still several guys that can go and won't be missed. They keep all these scrub picthers on their who never come up or come up and then don't picth and are sent down a day later. They seem to just want to hoard prospects. People can say we will trade for picthing, will we though? Are we really going to trade Westburg for the Jordan Montgomery's and Rich Hill's of the world?
