Finishing below 80 wins at this point would not be ok and be very disappointing IMO. That would be this team collapsed. We don’t have to make the playoffs but at least they could do is tread water the rest of the way and win 80 games

Its funny I have been so clamoring for a big bat the past couple of games, and then today realize we have thrown out Bauman and Akin (replacing Lyles) in the two biggest games of the year. Yea I want a bat but damn it we need picthing

This also has to do with every time Adley isn't in the lineup his bat isn't really replaced. More often or not it seems when he is out its Odor, Mateo, Nevin (thankfully gone) Chirninos, Mckenna. All at one point seemed like an automatic out. Add in Mountcastle and Hayes struggles and you can see why this team is bottom of every offense category. People keep clamoring for an arm this off season but they need a bat as well

This seems more like a Chrinos/backup catcher problem. They need to get a backup catcher who can hit next year. If you want to keep Adley in the lineup then do what the Giants did with Posey and play him at 1B 30-40 games a year

Please only 15 days. They will wait until at least May, and if you wait until May you might as well wait until Super 2 in June by their logic

3 of them need to be on the 40 man in 3 days. That's 3 of their "precious" 40 man spots that they would have to clear. Even though theres probably 10 guys the could easily yeet off. You damn well know Chirinos will catch tomorrow. They have off Monday so no real reason why Adley couldn't catch. If Chirinos is starting hopefully Stowers and Vavra are in

I mean you could kick Odor and Nevin to the curb and bring in Gunnar and Westburg. You could rotate in Westburg, Vavra, Urias, and Gunnar I guess
