  1. Robinson Chirinos! How ‘boutcha! Dang predictive text
  2. I hear ya, but coincidentally that’s exactly how I feel about Brown with his Star Wars and other references
  3. Great play by Mateo! But then to also get the DP to end the inning was huge.
  4. AR has the best approach on the team. He rarely gets fooled and he has great plate discipline, which was apparent early on.
  5. Idk, still only with a .249 average, but I guess he’s worth an extended look.
  6. Mancini is a class act. It was way to pull for him. You could see by the way he used to get so upset when he didn’t do well that it mattered to him. Hope he has success moving forward and especially with the Stros this year.
  7. Kremer was a guy I was excited about, but he looks more and more like the guy from last year. His stuff is alright, but location in the strike zone gets him in trouble. If he can be better with command he can have success. If they’re trying to make the playoffs, I’d get someone else. But that’s the difficult thing with the Angelos family in charge. It’s been better without PA, but is Elias still restricted to some degree because this year was totally unexpected.
  8. ….or Beast. Either way works for me if he continues to pitch like he has.
  9. Louis “Mountain” Rivera in Requiem for a Heavyweight was what I was thinking of earlier. ….and now, Felix “Mountain” Bautista in Requiem for a Rebuild.
  10. “Mountain” reminds me of the classic boxing movie with Anthony Quinn. And of course, I’m having a senior moment with the title.
  11. Big Ben calls him “Mountain”….either way his stuff is filthy.
  12. Yup, and I’m glad Lopez has had success and made the AS team. His personal struggles probably make it more satisfying. However, Bautista makes Lopez expendable. Teams battling for a playoff spot will overpay for an elite bullpen arm and Lopez has proved he has good stuff.
  13. Great job by Lyles gutting out 5.2 IP when he battled his command all day.
  14. Hays with the headfirst slide. Guess the wrist/forearm is ok.
  15. Yeah, quite a relief to have Nevin in there for his RHB as opposed to Vavra. Because they need to keep giving prospects, like Nevin, a chance to see what they have. Wait, is Nevin the prospect or Vavra? Why bring him up? Today was the perfect opportunity to give him his debut. And pretty sure that Rutschman guy is a switch hitter. Ok, I’m being snarky, but Nevin is not a future ML player.
