  1. Sure glad he’s getting all the seasoning he needs.
  2. They can’t hold a candle to the drunks in bean town.
  3. He just said,” That’s a can of corn.”
  4. Andrus is hilarious, his reaction to being punched out. Y’all ever see the video of him constantly messing with Beltre when they played together? Good stuff….
  5. Ball was smoked on that last hit. Wow, overturned.
  6. The running on contact play from 3rd base is idiotic. Years ago I’d be talking baseball with my dad who’s a big Angels fan and Mike Scioscia was their manager at the time. He loved to run that play and have his guys run into outs at the plate. Drove my dad nuts.
  7. Maybe, but Gutierrez had all day to make a much better throw and didn’t.
  8. He was set up for the slider, bad pitch call.
  9. Ellis, pretty efficient at 55 pitches.
  10. Brown said the hit by Santander was “hooked fair”….huh? It was a soft line drive over the 5-6 hole. Are they watching a feed in Baltimore?
  11. Agreed, always liked his approach. He has plenty of opportunities. Time to move on.
  12. I feel like he’s the pitcher who nibbles, never trusting his stuff. I like his voice, but not much else. He should go back to posing for the cover of Mad Magazine.
  13. I was already asleep by the time he came in, but yeah, impressive. I just watched a replay and I don’t know what light clicked on for him, but he looks more confident on top of his level of performance. He was at 95 mph on the second batter he faced and didn’t lose any command-two balls at 95 and 96 on the inside corner and his other pitches were well placed, a slider for strike three in on the hands of a RHB and one low and away to a lefty. Even his misses were in good spots.
  14. “Rung up” also implies it’s a bad call.
  15. Yup….I don’t know how many balls he fouled off, but that was a professional AB.
