We have had to root for them a lot lately due to playing other teams in the WC hunt so of course they are sucking.

I missed them as well was watching AGT for a few minutes.

Unfortunately this looks like a 1 or no hit night for us.

Once Springer got on that way had a bad feeling that was coming next.

I can’t believe we got out of that only giving up 2 runs.

I absolutely love Ben and Kevin!

Maybe they will put McKenna in soon for his defense and great off the bench at bats.

With our luck the umps will call it.

Baltimore County about 30 minutes from the ballpark.

Neither.

I am in the minority but now that they do not have the obnoxious players like Bautista and Donaldson I do not mind the Blue Jays. I am also ok with Tampa. It is a slight edge that I hate the Yankees more than the Red Sox and it kills me to have to root for them to help our chances.

Kevin Brown just summed that up nicely.

It is so funny you posted that when you did I was just telling my family about that and other things as to why most O’s fans do not like the Blue Jays.

She was one of the best if not the best singer that I have heard on the broadcasts I have gotten to watch. And we got to hear her sing 2 Anthems what a bonus.

I don’t know if anyone else in Birdland still does this but I observe Orange Wednesday. And do Purple Friday for the Ravens. I have always wondered if other teams in baseball or football have that.

Thank you Tony! I echo what everyone else has said this site is amazing and I have learned so much and appreciate everyone. It is great to experience the highs and lows with fellow O’s fans. I come on just about every day sometimes multiple times even if I do not post very often.

We have never needed to stay over in the city but there is a Hilton right by the ballpark that is an easy walk to the Inner Harbor. I would go by your and the hotel’s availability to determine when. Just don’t pick games with the Yankees or Red Sox their fans take over our ballpark and they are so obnoxious. A short drive or you can take a water taxi to Ft. McHenry which is where the Battle of Baltimore took place that inspired Francis Scott Key to write our National Anthem. Also a short drive away is the Maryland Zoo it is small but nice. At the Inner Harbor on one end is the National Aquarium. There is the World Trade Center you can go to the top. There are also historic ships the USS Constellation, a submarine the Torsk, a ship right by it called The Chesapeake, and a coast guard ship you pay one fee and can tour them all 4. Also paddle boats. There is also a sightseeing cruise. Some restaurants as well. And at the other end is the Maryland Science Center. Not far from the Maryland Science Center is the Visionary Art Museum. I don’t know if they still offer them but they used to have ballpark tours at Oriole Park. There are also art and other types of museums close by. About 30 minutes or so away is Annapolis. You can tour the Maryland State House for free just need to show an ID. You can also visit the Naval Academy must have 2 forms of ID and that is free unless you take the tour. There is also a sightseeing cruise and shops and restaurants. Hope all of this helps.

I also was baffled pulling Adley. Unfortunately it does not matter. We put up a good fight.
