Yes, but Adam is a good guy. This isn't about winning it is about loyalty. Nolan Reimold got so many chances with us because he was a good guy. Same with Flaherty. Now Tillman. The Orioles are the most loyal organization. I am so proud of them....screw championships!

Yeah really. The O's will be 15 games under 500 and people will talk about how it was bc of an awful April schedule.

True, I was speaking tongue and cheek; but I honestly don't know that I ever remember a non-pitcher taking so many strikes down the heart of the plate then he did last year (not necessarily all with two strike counts). So if he can fix this mental issue he could bounce back.

All he has to do is follow one simple rule to begin the year and he will have better numbers: AUTOMATICALLY SWING ONCE YOU HAVE TWO STRIKES ON YOU BECAUSE IT WILL BE RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE!

Great news. We can now begin using a new strategy called "fleecing the rival." We trade Manny to the Yanks and Gausman to the Sox (plus a few relievers to other teams.) We rebuild, conceding the division for the next couple of years, while weakening the future of our biggest rivals. This should be our strategy.

Yes, but we are not good enough to win anything right now. Our best starting pitcher--Bundy--is feeling the stress of throwing so many innings and no one else is that good. Instead, we should be looking to do what the Yanks did last year and cash in on our assets.

I don't know but if Bundy will never be able to throw it again, then forget him being a starter. His fastball got pounded on Sunday because just like Hunter's fastball it is straight as an arrow. Relievers can get by without the cutter and blow smoke for an inning. Take a reliever who has a great arm and let him throw a cutter and you mighthave Mariano Rivera!

I think you are missing the point. Theo knew when to trade and what to trade for. He was building a championship team. Remember it is Theo who initiated talks with DD to acquire Jake. Theo is a winner.

I did not mean someone would be fired for last night. I meant that these are the types of performances that are going to lead to an electric strike zone, thus costing some jobs.

The umpire's union needs to police itself. Performances like last night are going to cost themselves their jobs. No excuse for that.

No wonder Dan wanted to bolt to Toronto and cash in on his success. He knew that his dealings would kill the farm system and the only reason we were winning is because of Buck.
