  1. They DFA’ed him the other day and he was claimed already by the Dodgers.
  2. When rosters are set tomorrow, we should see some IL stints and releases.
  3. I wonder if they might slow his innings down a bit and have him go to the AFL, instead of ramping him up at a higher level.
  4. I could see Bannon (due to missed time) or McCoy, Stowers, Handley, and Adam Hall go on the defense side. Bannon or McCoy would mainly be there to continue to work on a utility role, similar to how Stevie was there a few seasons ago. Pitching wise, it is harder to tell. With an actual minor league season, they could shut players down to avoid any extra throwing, even if the AFL usually has 1 or 2 inning appearances every week by a pitcher. Sedlock could be an option, but again, hard to tell what they will want to do with pitchers.
  5. I haven’t seen a list anywhere and rosters aren’t updated yet. Hopefully more information comes out tomorrow on the “Minor League Off Day.” Someone else mentioned Coby Mayo moving up to Delmarva and someone else mentioned how a bunch of “big names” at the FCL were conspicuously absent over the weekend.
  6. He might, but he might have just been sent for a fresh arm. Might see him back later.
  7. Hopefully Fernando isn’t Abad pitcher. *Runs*
  8. I wonder if Wynns is available out of the bullpen tomorrow or does Hyde not want to use him in back to back game?
  9. I think I finally figured out the signs. When Wynns outs down any finger, it means “throw ball down middle of plate.”
  10. Trey should be scouting him to be his pitcher for the Home Run Derby at next years All Star Game.
  11. The only way Plutko could get an out was if Wynns tackled the batter during Plutko’s windup.
  12. Well, David retired and Valaika and Wilkerson are in AAA. What position player can pitch in this game?
  13. Sprained ankles are notoriously finicky when it comes to healing, just like hamstrings and obliques.
  14. I’d rather hear from Buster Posey.
  15. From experiences of walking around there during batting practice and the way the ball was traveling, it probably landed about 5-10 short of the outdoor seating in Dempseys there, which still puts it about 15-20 feet short of the warehouse. But it would be the closest “in game” home run I believe.
  16. But in all serious, could he be wearing down from the season after the short 2020 season and being used in high leverage situations?
  17. Why trade when you can just under slot your first few draft picks?
  18. He should be, just for the opportunity to see the backflip.
  19. Fry: I tried my best to get traded and I didn’t? Well, I’ll show them…
