Boras is fine.
Someone needs to advocate for players.
Lol he doesn’t advocate for the players
He advocates for himself.
Imagine Soto has a horrendous injury tomorrow…you think Boras will help him?
Funniest thing I have read on here. Lol

It's going to be hilarious if the betting community has better sources than the actual sports reporters do.
That’s how it works. Watch that line on Sunday.

These rankings are important imo. Fan graphs are one of the best.
I have read and listened to so many mocks, I am exhausted.
If it were me I’d go (thinking out loud a bit):
Jones (Boras is a huge red flag, see Soto, Boras is bad for baseball). BUT he would be huge trade capital!
Holiday: I have read a ton of analysis and it seems like Holiday has MUCH greater odds sticking at SS than Lee. If Lee can’t stick at SS, that dramatically impacts his value. I might go Holiday over Jones, but not sure on that yet.
Lesko: love him, he’s the underslot I’d go with.
Lee: see comments above. If he isn’t a slam dunk SS, why are we taking him? That would be bad.
Green: too much risk for Elias, I see little chance he takes him.
Parada: can rake, might be able to play 3rd, underrated imo
Johnson: hit tool blah blah blah, you don’t take a 2nd 1:1 when the above guys available imo
Collier: could be great, could be overrated, too many unknowns for my liking

It’s official, they think it’s Lee. Sig rules.

It still amazes me how the Angels can have two of the best players in baseball and not be at the top of the league.
Your not the only one!

Time to bounce back. Urias is white hot. We need one of our big boys to carry this offense into the break.
I am slightly disappointed that Nevin wasn’t replaced in this series for a hotter bat.

No one has said he’s not talented or anything like that. But pulling the trigger on him at 1 is a horrible idea.
I’d much rather have him than Berry, Cross, Johnson, Green or many on this list. I just don’t agree.

Fangraphs (led by Eric Longenhagen) has updated its Board to show 2022 Draft Rankings . They also have detailed scouting reports on many players. They have Drew Jones no. 1 and the only player rated at 60 FV. Then there’s three in the 55 tier: Jackson Holliday, Brooks Lee and Termarr Johnson. Nice reports on all these guys.
Oh look, Lesko at 7! People jumped on me when I said I’d consider him as an underslot. We need pitching and he could have been 1 overall without the TJ.

There is already a mock draft thread, just saying:)

They can, but won't.
They kept the MASN money. They can just refuse to pay the player and draw it out on appeals. The Angelos way

What would it take? Ohtani is two players and a huge draw! Same with Soto of course but both give you the “it” factor. Not saying we should, but this is a discussion board afterall.
-
Batting .091 in limited time so far.
-
Frobby: clearly Nevin will be replaced. Do you think that will be Bannon?

I’d bring up Westburg now and let him split time with Odor at 2B, while playing 1-2 times per week at SS.
Elias has made it a point to mention Westburg/Henderson have been promoted together. I think there’s little chance both aren’t promoted together. I agree with Frobby’s take 110%.

Doesn't really matter that Hyde left Wells in to face Chang. If he had pulled him Chang would probably have hit Perez as poor as Perez was pitching. Perez has been solid. He just had a bad night.
Jim Palmer disagrees with you.
-
The ump last night was beyond bad. He cost us at least one run. Palmer has a right to be angry! Spot on!
-
Does anyone know if generally that’s going to be a stronger or weaker class as a whole? Just curious.

I think it’s safe to say Berry won’t be the guy.

Not really. Unless Hyde is telling them to not hit with RISP, not much he could do.
Huh? You pull Wells or pitch around the guy with two hits above 100mph so far in the game. Not rocket science. I trust Palmer over you lol

-
There’s a lot to second guess Hyde for in this game so far, geesh. Just ask Jim Palmer.
-
Palmer’s right, why leave Wells in there? Odd.

Yeah, pitched twice out of the bullpen

You said you are good with him being the Os pick..that he is one of your 3. But that’s against the experts and you are crying when people do that. None of these guys are justifying him as the first pick. You are telling jammer, myself, etc..that obviously Jones isn’t clear cut or that Johnson isn’t worth the first pick or whatever because that’s what the experts say.
So either you are a hypocrite or just a troll.
Oh come on, RZNJ is not a troll lol. That’s not nice:)

Why isn’t literally anyone else doing this series? Rob Long? Melanie? Tony? Frobby? Bigbird? Literally anyone else…
