  1. Not me. I'll take anybody who can play a MLB CF like Mullins can and also hit. I'm not a fan of running guys out there who can't put the bat on the ball just because they can play up the middle. I'm of the opinion that we should get guys like Mateo off the field and out of the lineup if possible. It's about hitting the baseball.
  2. Unbelievable. Cannot believe we managed to claim an arm like that off waivers during a playoff push. And he's under team control through 2026? Mike Elias man. Jacob Webb is an absolute steal.
  3. I understand. I love watching Os games too, but I am a lot more invested in games that matter in the standings. If we've already clinched the division before game 162 then my interest does go down for game 162.
  4. Os finish off August with a homestand, then go out west again early September. Then come back home again in the 2nd half of September with hopefully the chance to lock up a playoff birth and clinch the division. Realize we are getting ahead of ourselves a little bit, but another month of good baseball and we will be staring down a division title and 1st round bye. And doing this at home. It is going to get absolutely bonkers in there. And I can't wait for it.
  5. It's not a crapshoot. Whoever plays better will win the series. I think the Orioles can win it all.
  6. Wade Boggs has over 80 offensive WAR and barely hit any home runs. For the stat heads out there those are some stats for your ass. It always comes down to bat on ball.
  7. They should have never stopped counting GWRBI. It is the most clutch stat.
  8. Thought about going with RonJeremy just for shits and giggles, but decided not to.
  9. The stats say that Frazier is meh, but actually Frazier is a top level player. He has the clutch gene. He is the leader of the team. Stats cannot measure what is inside. Guys like Frazier have the heart of a lion. It's called a brand of winning baseball. You can't measure these things. You can only understand it by watching the games. Rutschman has this too. He is a winner.
  10. I am not stats or tools guy. I am a baseball watcher. The best way to evaluate is to watch the games. This is a great team.
  11. It's an internet forum man. It's not that serious. You don't have to go for the jugular and post about snarky response like a teenage girl.
  12. Snarky post. Who peed in your coffee?
  13. Basallo can hit. And yes, Salas is younger and projects to stay at catcher, but the name of the games is to hit a baseball.
  14. Why did the sign Frazier? Why did they take Kjerstad? Or Rutschman over Witt? Or Holliday over Jones? There is without doubt emphasis on hitting the baseball over tools.
  15. Do you think we can afford Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Aaron Judge, etc.
  16. The Orioles seem to prioritize hitting the baseball more than other teams.
  17. Dont we lead the league in bullpen WAR?
  18. You're like a woman on twitter. Very catty.
  19. Basallo, no brainer. The big hub hub around Salas is that hes 17. His actual production is entirely mediocre. I know, hes 17 so the upside is out of this world, but I like to combine upside and production.
  20. The guy cries a lot considering we have the best record in the whole damn league.
  21. Frazier is the forums favorite whipping boy, but at the end of the day he can put the bat on the ball. Man on 3rd less than 2 outs? Frazier is money.
  22. Timely hitting, situational baseball and a lockdown back end of the bullpen. How are the Os doing it? There is the answer.
  23. Mullins is a great piece for the 2023, 2024 and perhaps 2025 team. But I see him as a peaking player who is injury prone. I don't worry about players in their early 30s. It's 33+ that you want worry about. Mullins injury history changes that though. The idea of paying big money to a guy who has an injury history with his legs is enough to put me off any extension.
