  1. I wouldn't move Suárez out of the rotation unless (until) he falters. Very unique to have his experience, confidence, control and velocity. Mike Snyder O's pro scout on Suarez: “In broad strokes, he was a strike thrower with a high pitching IQ. With feel for three secondary offerings, and with real fastball velocity in the tank to bully hitters when he wanted to,"
  2. The real odd part about Roch's piece is that McKenna mentions that he's friends with Kjerstad "he's one of the players I'm closest to in the minors" and when Kjerstad gets the call that he's going to the majors McKenna is standing next to him and he doesn't tell him, he just says I have to catch a flight to California, that is so weird.
  3. Yes Palmer returns Monday and I would love to see that but I, here in LA, will be stuck watching the Angels broadcast, anyone know a workaround for that? Except on Wednesday when I'll be at the game.
  4. Yes, but I feel like we have been winning with a combination of us beating the other team and them beating themselves. It's early and this team is figuring it out, certainly Cowser Westburg really getting comfortable is great. But I want to se us beat a team that plays well.
  5. Couldn't agree more about Melanie N. I particularly can't stand when she does the post game interview and at the end always says "go enjoy this one!" Amber was great, does anyone remember her Matt Wieters interview where they were facing each other in chairs and he looked about 100 times bigger than her? Almost looked like a parody, by the way that was the interview where she asked him about who had the best stuff and he said Arrieta, a harbinger of what was to come.
  6. Did you hear Kevin asking Ben about his favorite books during Saturdays game? I think the polite way to describe it would be uncomfortable disaster, and even worse when it became obvious that this was a rotten line of questioning... he just kept going. We are tuning in to watch the game, please talk about baseball.
  7. I enjoy watching him too, and now feeling very confident when he enters a game.
  8. I miss Gary too, he and Palmer were great together.
  9. Ready for a laugher on Friday, after last night I would really enjoy a relaxing first game against The Pirates.
  10. Last nights game was tense and that is challenging but, when Mountcastle was safe at first in the 8th I had that great feeling that we don't give in, we outcompete other teams. I really enjoy that, then in the 9th I felt certain we would find a way to win, but the walk off homer for me is a special kind of joy. I can enjoy a laugher, but for me these kinds of games are more meaningful.
  11. This is so great, thanks for posting, can you post the other segments? I could only get The Angels broadcast. Almost too good to be true, I agree, this is one of the greatest most unimaginable turnarounds I've ever witnessed.
