  1. Just like you have 8x10s of every Orioles prospect ever plastered all over your walls. I’m sure your media guide from ‘97 has the pages of Rocky Coppinger and Danny Clyburn stuck together.
  2. Because that seems to be a bit much for the 26th man on the roster. I get it, McKenna isn't a great player and no one should get it twisted that I think he is. I just happen to think that the difference between him and Hays isn't a wide gap at this point in time. But my goodness, the way some of you hate on McKenna, it's almost personal or something. It's really weird to be so angsty towards a player who doesn't get much playing time and probably won't be on the team that much longer.
  3. I'm not sure what it'll be but I don't think it'll be much. I'm just looking forward to seeing people whine about him being in the lineup when they were so confident that he was better than McKenna. Should be a good time!
  4. Entirely different offensive era, but still was a 7.2 WAR player. I think expectations for Bradfield need to be in the context that guys with WAR seasons like that just don't grow on trees no matter what the era is.
  5. Flashback to taking tests in high school where you had to write your answers and at the end of the question the teacher would write "If so, why?" Mayo's three years younger. Other than that, who's to say?
  6. What? Maybe I wasn't clear. With Miller, you can pair him in the back of the bullpen with Bautista when Bautista comes back. Miller in the 8th, Bautista in the 9th. 7 inning games. I'm not sure how many more years Bautista has before free agency, I'm assuming it's 3 or so. But 3 years of that, sign me up. Mason Miller might get hurt, but I'll take that risk. If you want a bullpen full of guys that throw 100+, some are gonna break down...that's just the reality of MLB right now.
  7. I'd drive HK to the airport for Miller. I didn't realize you were so high on DeLeon. How come?
  8. Well I don't know what kind of race you're running on here. IMO, this is a place to talk about baseball, have some fun, make a few jokes and learn stuff. I'm not sure who's finishing last around here, but you do you.
  9. Well we just love the exchanges with you, Reezy. Can't help it if you're the friendliest guy on here.
  10. I don't think I'd trade Basallo/Mayo for Miller, but I also don't think I'd hesitate to put EBJ in a package. I understand your amplification on the matter, but I also think you're conveniently ignoring what Miller brings to the table. Six years of control for a reliever like that, and you match him up with Bautista when he comes back...that's a lock down 8th and 9th inning. You're essentially playing a 7 inning game at that point if you've got a lead. It's 17 relief appearances but it's 17 appearances of 102 MPH. He's striking out 2 batters every inning. His WHIP is microscopic, he's barely walking anyone. I get your viewpoint but being over the top about it isn't helping your cause.
  11. He might, but you've gotta put him at closer for six weeks first so he can show out. Don't forget that part.
  12. Yeah, I think you're the only one who cares about this because you're the only one harping on it, which is fine. In regard to SG, you can't reign in the guy who laps the field with the amount of posts he makes. He's already "taken over" outside of the fact that Tony owns the website.
