You are probably referring to Garabez Rosa. He was an organization soldier who some thought deserved a lifetime achievement award by giving him some PAs after the roster expanded in September, especially during the 2018 season.

I have to imagine his impactful calls are going to be heavily favored towards St Louis in this game. He was truly awful. BTW, the pitch Kremer threw for the homer afterwards wasn't horrible. It was actually in third up and in to a lefty which is typically not an area where lefties typically hit well. If you want to add to the blame, blame Rutschman for calling 4 straight fastballs to a hitter who was 3-for-30 this year on any pitch that was not a fastball. I know I've been harping a lot lately on Rustchman's pitch calling, but he's quickly getting into Wieters territory for calling for a lot of fastballs in succession.

He might, you never know. Either way, he was a fantastic draft pick for his round. He's a classic over achiever who as @RZNJ has pointed out, who has improved in areas like strike zone judgement. You never know with guys like Cook. I always remember that Carlos Casimiro once got a cup of coffee so anything is possible.

We know you do, and you have that right. He lost me of late with his McKenna evaluation and some of his goofy interactions with Brown and Melanie during games. Palmer knows a ton, but I'm going to take Elias' player evaluations over him every day of the week and twice on Sundays. That doesn't take away anything he's ever done, just that I'm not going to take his word as some kind of ground truth. He has his right to his opinions just like Cal has his right to think Beltre was a better defensive 3B than Brooks (Sorry Brooksy) but they're just opinions. Elias is a pretty good track record of evaluating talent and even he's not right all the time.

Oh well, not the Orioles night in any way.
-
Well he only needs to get through one more inning so odds are, even Hyde can only burn one more reliever. But I wouldn't put money on it!

Palmer also thinks Ryan McKenna is a good player. I know he's your friend, and he's an Orioles HoFer, but I don't know if I'm using "Palmer agrees with me" when it comes to player evaluations. I heard him on the radio with Rob Long in a cringeworthy interviews that went from him calling McKenna a really good player and ended with him having a personal conversation about the weather and whether Long was doing games this weekend.

Oh sorry, I forgot some of you can't go by more than a few appearances.

Just one of those nights. Everything dropping for the Cards, they are outcoaching the Orioles, and their starter was better. Just not the Orioles night.

Ok, he needs to cover 1B better. I'll give you that. No way I'd DFA Perez over Baumann.
