  1. That's a manager/coaches issue. If they can't get across that it's bad optics to be yucking it up in the dugout in clear view of fans and the cameras, they probably don't have a lot of control of that clubhouse.
  2. Nice to see Burnes and Kremer yucking it up during this great game.
  3. I honestly feel bad for Hyde. Watching this many guys underperform is maddening.
  4. The problem is, who do you add?
  5. Two outs is Kimbrel's kryptonite! Dude can never finish off an inning. Thankfully this is garbage time which is where he should always be pitching for the rest of this season.
  6. Eloy wearing a spring training number makes a lot of sense. He should only be here temporarily.
  7. There's your empty, solo 40th home run that makes KB act like he just tied up the game. 8-3 boys, 8-3 is the score.
  8. Maybe that will finally get Burch smith off this team.
  9. Oy, this team is not very good. lol
  10. Only if they are slow and have an OPS under .600.
  11. Hyde should be frustrated. This team has to be the most frustrating team I've ever seen. Even the teams that were terrible could hit a little bit in the clutch.
  12. Well you can also say Gregory Soto. The Orioles have the most Soto's per 26-man roster in baseball. Just not the best one.
  13. Burch also means, "He who can't get Red Sox out."
  14. I feel like a major league hitter, especially one with O'Hearn's experience, should know the situation and act appropriately.
  15. "Burch is a boy's name of Old English origin that means "one who lives by the birch tree". It's traditionally a surname and an Anglo-Saxon habitational name." It almost meant, "He who give up home runs."
  16. Throw was strong but offline, but what a heck of a catch and dive tag by Adley there.
  17. Wait how do spell Burch "correctly?"
  18. For a guy who never drafts a slow, right-handed power hitter, he sure does love cast off versions of them.
  19. Maybe they need to remove that field microphone. lol Lot's of Red Sox hitters that absolutely love yelling, "Fudge".
  20. Shh, stop trying to put logic into the Orioles lineups. Then again, who do you bat there with almost every guy besides Gunnar, Cedric and Santander just totally sucking.
  21. I just wanted to come here and lament over the absolute jackassery of swinging on the 1st pitch after the pitcher could not throw a strike to the batter before you. That's the kind of selfish BS this team is about.
  22. Eh, not sure I agree. Hays was right-handed, had good power, decent speed, and plus arm in the OF, but questionable jumps leading most to believe he was corner outfielder at the major league level. Overn bats left-handed, doesn't have much power, is speedy, has an average to maybe slightly below avg arm, but should be able to play center field at the major league level effectively.
  23. Neither of them are obviously sustainable, but Norby did slash .297/.389/.519/.908 this year and had over 1000 AAA PAs so it's not like his bat wasn't ready.
  24. No doubt they are, and I can see the reluctance of playing them at times, but at some point, like they've done with Gunnar, Cowser and Holliday despite less than stellar minor league splits against , they have to let these guys get a chance.
  25. About time to move Adley down and Mullins up.
